“Submit electrical, dedicated VLAN internet, and rigging before the 30-day advance cutoff at KBHCCD Dallas, and rent 75" 4K monitors plus tension-fabric structures from a local Dallas EAC supplier to eliminate cross-country LTL drayage.”
“Peak decision-maker aisle traffic hits day 1–2 main exhibition hours (9:30 am – 4:30 pm) & evening dallas corridor client buyout dinners.. Lock private dining rooms within a 10-minute walk of KBHCCD Dallas at least 45–60 days before opening morning.”
“Book walkable or skybridge-connected Dallas headquarters hotels 60+ days out and pick up badges the afternoon prior to opening day to bypass Day-1 morning registration lines. Wear broken-in shoes for 1,000,000+ net sq. ft. (Halls A–F) of floor coverage and pre-book evening client meetings near the main concourse.”
“I attended the Tom Ferry Convention here, and the convention center is huge and very well organized. The space is modern and set up to handle thousands of people, with great staff keeping things running smoothly. The location is super convenient — right in downtown Dallas, connected to hotels and close to plenty of restaurants. The only downside I noticed was that some of the bathrooms weren’t as clean as expected during such a big event. Other than that,…”
“Pretty nice place, although can be confusing and a little dirty in places. I believe it is being torn down for very much needed renovations. Went for a robotics tournament and it was satisfactory, friendly staff. Although they don’t allow outside food/drink for some reason and have the audacity to charge an extreme amount for pretty bad food. Vendors need some improvement. Would give it three stars, although there was a chick-fil-a so automatic +1 star”
“Sadly.... the worst place to have your event, for many reasons: 1) The underground parking typically has ONE singular exit open [imagine 2,000 cars trying to exit after an event through one exit] 2) No nearby eats; outside of the Omni next door, the location is NOT near any decent restaurants 3) Lack of elevators - imagine 5,000 people leaving an event about the same time, most of them trying to get down to the underground parking area... on two elevators …”
“This convention center is a great to hold an expo or large scaled event. During FanExpo 2026, the HVAC system was either not working or off. The temperature in the convention hall was ridiculously hot. To the point that we went to the main halls and some do the bathrooms to get a temperature change. Not sure what’s going on here but man it was a rough time for sure. Need to either figure what’s going on in the convention space or fix the HVAC.”
“Ohhhhh WoW 👌 KBH Convention Center 😍 This Venue and Event Center 🙌 has so much Progress and Promise. It is a volatile asset to Our Community. Thank you for your grace and upkeep. You have a delightful and definite desire to the passion and keeping Dallas both enjoyable and safe. Again, Keep Us Engaging and Safe.”
